Music Tutoring

I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to study piano for the past 10 years under the instruction of a professional pianist with degrees in both performance and pedagogy. Because of this experience I understand the years of training it requires to be a full time instructor. While I am not able to fill the role of a professional teacher, I have the experience to offer services as a piano tutor, especially for the following situations:

• A beginning to intermediate student who is currently taught by a professional and would like additional support, guidance, and encouragement between lessons and over breaks
• A beginning to intermediate student who does not have interest in formal lessons but is working on teaching themselves and would like occasional or regularly scheduled guidance or instruction
• Tutoring in music theory, scales, and other foundational aspects of performance
• Practice sessions for vocalists requiring piano accompaniment
• A student who is interested in potentially pursuing piano, and would like introductory sessions to determine whether they would like to find a place with a local professional instructor
