In-person tutoring sessions in homes or public spaces must take place within a 12-minute drive from tutor’s residence.
Payment must be made prior to session by Venmo or cash.
Please give at least 24-hour notice for cancellations.
Payment for tutoring is not dependent upon outcomes, and payment does not guarantee improvement in grades or progress in skills.
Tutor reserves right to decline tutoring sessions if he feels that he is not an appropriate fit for the student’s needs.
For academic tutoring students must be prepared to discuss problem areas within the subject to maximize effectiveness of the session.
When meeting in public spaces both parties will act in accordance with local COVID-19 regulations.
Tutoring sessions can be held over video conferencing apps such as skype, zoom, etc.
For purposes of social distancing during COVID-19 tutor can bring a portable digital piano so tutor and student are not sharing the student’s piano during the session if so desired.
